I need your opinion ~ Please!
Magnolias with red background?

Magnolias with creamy,pinkish background?

Thanks Nicole for your suggestion ~ got to me to thinking and I wanted to see what they'd look like with a RED background.
So leave me a comment if you would and let me know what you think ~ light or dark?

I LOVE them both but that RED really POPS! My bedroom is done in a dark, cranberry red so that would be GORGEOUS! Hugs ~ Kim

My choice would be pink, but I prefer red normally...hmmm??

I vote for the red, and would love to paint this piece! I MISS MY PAINT CLASSES...Boo Hoo..

You gotta come up and give me some private lessons. Don will just have to pay for the airfare AND the paint class fees, huh? I miss you and can't wait until I get this mess unpacked and get settled so we can talk more often.

If I pay for your airfare, you have to make me A LOT of your famous crescent rolls!

Don

P.S. I like the dark background better. How about forest green (typical request from a guy, huh?)

Hi Sandy thanks for visiting. Your blogsite is wonderful and I have totally enjoyed checking out everything, especially the art produced in your classes. Isn't it amazing how people can produce the same scene in so many different ways. Each painting has it's own personality.

Lovin' your pups. I have a mini long-haired doxie. She is two now, and soooooooooooooo spoiled. She likes to have tender little kissies under her neck and jaw, and will throw her head back and beg for same. Hmmmmmmm, I wonder who spoiled her. Was it you?

Nice to meetcha! :)

I actually painted magnolias on both the light and the dark backgrounds and I must say my favorite is the dark colors!
I love the red background, but painting them on a black background is the best!! :)
Your painting is beautiful!!
