Clay Peonies Class

In clay class this past week we created peonies. I think they turned out great and everyone loved how easy they were to create!

My friend Nicole has brought just about everyone in her family to class with her which I LOVE! I know her daddy was a bit unsure at first about creating with the clay but let me tell you his flowers were amazing!!
He's such a sweetie too and it was awesome having him in class!

I know I shared this pic on Facebook but for my blog friends not on FB - this is the latest painting I finished to go to the gallery. I LOVE hydrangeas - am not very good at growing them though. Love to paint them too! This one is on a 24x30 gallery wrapped canvas and I just love the way it turned out.

Have an OUTSTANDING day!

Fabric Painting

We painted these really cute shirts in class last weekend
Ann & Ellen came and Nicole brought with her ~ two of her daughters and one of their friends and Nicole's Mom also came out to paint with us which was fun! The girls provided lots of entertainment and laughter and we all had a great time.

I just love the way the shirts turned out - remember I have three boys - I don't get to do the cutesy - girly- swirly thingy too often so I love when I have classes that are "girly"!

Mine

My friend Marzia from Italy creates the most beautiful shirts too - she'll be at the Summit next week showing us some cool tricks and I can't wait to see how she does what does she with fabric paint!

Lexi and her friend Hallie Jean - they were too funny and made shirts for each other and then wore the shirt they made for the other. Cute huh?

Stroke Study Workshop
I told you how far behind I was on posting right?? I held this Stroke Study Workshop

on June 26th! We had a blast! All day Saturday learning the ins and outs of 3 strokes - how to hold your brush, how to load your brush, how to paint different things using those strokes! Thankfully they all enjoyed it!

Hibiscus Clay Class
I'm so behind on posting! Didn't realize there were some classes I did and didn't ever post! We created these really cute Hibiscus flowers in clay class and put them on these standing frames that we turned into chalk boards.

Hope you are having a fabulous 4th of July! We had a wonderful combined service at Church this a.m. so it was packed - came home, had lunch and rushed to the base pool so we could get a spot and we were one of maybe 2 other families there just after noon. It did start to fill up - guess everyone didn't rush home from church and eat sandwiches in the car on the way to the pool!lol Gotta get there early to get an umbrella and table. Was the perfect summer day - slight breeze - high 80's to low 90's and just a great two hours lounging by the pool with my men! The only thing that could have made it better was if the pool were in my backyard!
Anyway, how are you spending the 4th of July?
I have pictures from a couple of classes I haven't shared yet and my younger sister and her kiddos came over last night and I got to paint the the kiddos (not Andrew - he was too into the Wii) - I'll share all those pictures this week!
Have a great week.
