Studio by Sculpey Clay classes & More
I've finished all of my classes for this year and had such a blast creating and sharing all of these projects with my students! I was looking through my blog last night at all the posts over the year and am just amazed and one proud teacher at the work my students did this year!

We created a poinsettia with the Studio Clay

After my clay class yesterday I had a kids craft class and let me tell you I love doing these classes and I have to have A LOT of projects prepared for them to do because they listen so well and fly through the projects in the two hours. We created these adorable aprons and I hot glued the ribbons and bows on for them. They painted snowmen, a snowmen frame and a pink chalkboard with daisies on it.

I'm done with all of my shopping now it's time to get some cooking done!
Y'all have a fabulous day!
Blessings,
Sandy

Christmas Angel
Yesterday in paint class we painted a Christmas Angel and I just love the way she turned out.
Barb and Jenny have asked me repeatedly to paint an angel and I finally gave in and am glad that I did.

Not sure why I couldn't upload the picture cropped down - kept ending up sideways - so you can click on the picture to make it bigger if you want to see it close up.

I know I'm about as inconsistent posting my bowling scores as I am at the sport of bowling-hehehe but today I had an awesome day! I bowled a 199, 151 and 189. We had our bowling party which meant lots of yummy food - maybe that's why I bowled so well -all the sugar!
Hope you have a wonderful day.

I'm Home with a lot to update!

I sure you were about to put out an APB on a missing blogger huh? LOL
I've been super busy with everything but having so much fun with it all ~ just had no time to update and fill you in. So, grab a cup of coffee, sit back and enjoy - it's a long post!

I just got home from Florida (I know, some of you are saying - AGAIN?) Yes, again.
I went down for 4 days to do some training to become a Studio Home Dimensions Regional Trainer along with all of these lovely ladies and one guy Mark T. from England. We had so much fun and look forward to storming the country with lots of opportunities to become CERTIFIED TEACHERS in the Studio Home Dimensions program. I've post more about that later and if I'm coming to a town near you!!

My students and I have been painting this month (sorry guys I know you like to see your photos posted) here they are:

Got all the septic tank issues fixed! Just have dirt from one end of the yard to another so will not have to get a landscaper out to even out the dirt and plant some grass.

We're painting Christmas Angels in Mondays paint class ~ can't wait to share those with you!
Hope you have a wonderful day.
Blessings,
Sandy

SMELLY YARD & MEAN PEOPLE!

The septic tank people came today to start on our septic tank issues.

We noticed some darker areas in our yard a couple of weeks ago and after some investigating my hubby realized it was the sewage. YUK!
We now know why our doggies were getting sick about a month ago - they had dug a couple of holes in the yard and were drinking the water that was coming up from below. YUK again!

Come to find out our run off pipes were about 300 feet short ~ so that is what they are doing now.
Diggin up the yard and laying pipes.

This was one of the doggies drinking holes - YUK!

On to the MEAN PEOPLE ~ oh my!
My younger sister just moved 2 hours down the road and while they are house hunting her job pays for a hotel. Not knowing how long they'd be in there before finding a place to live they brought along a few of their favorite things to entertain themselves - one being a present my mom & dad purchased them for an early Christmas present - a Wii. Well, they left the Wii fit (we got them for Christmas -early) in the car and brought the Wii into the room and guess what - while they were out yesterday it was stolen!! Can you believe that someone who obviously had access to the room STOLE their Wii? I have recommend she not stop until some one either returns the Wii or someone loses a job over it! They will also file a police report and hopefully insurance will replace the cost - but it's so hard to find one of those things these days. Just amazes me how MEAN some people can be - especially during this time of the year!! Guess all we can do is pray for them.

Okay, now that you are probably totally grossed out & mad about mean people in this world ~
have a great day!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY SISTER AND HER HUBBY! 21 Years!
We love you very much and hope you have a wonderful Anniversary!!
This was a picture of my sister and her family a couple of years ago while at Disney.
I'm busy getting ready for an event in our local community tomorrow - Byron Tour of Homes. There are several of us artists that have been invited to sell our Christmas items. I'm still trying to find time to get around blogland. I so appreciate you friends for coming by and visiting me faithfully!
Blessings,

Busy Busy Busy time of Year!
Oh my, that is an understatement isn't it?

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours was nice and quiet with my younger sister and her family over for a lovely meal. We actually threw the pies out after they left because we didn't want to sit around and eat pie for days after. My greatest feat was that I finally after 18 years made turkey gravy like my moms!! It was so yummy and for the first time in 18 years wasn't lumpy!

Yesterday I spent the day with a good friend of mine up at Plaid in Atlanta. It was awesome to see a lot of creating going on! I unfortunately left my camera up there though and won't get it back until next week when I go to Florida.

I had two fabulous classes on Monday and will post my second class photos late next week since those pics are still on my camera card. We painted this landscape and I love the way it turned out. We put a piece of contact paper over the canvas and cut an oval out of the middle - painted out landscape and lifted the contact paper to be left with crisp edges in the shape of an oval.
