Brenda is having a giveaway and is drawing today ~ go on over and check it out! Click here to go to her blog!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month ~ I will be have a giveaway for a piece of my artwork (to be posted soon) and here is the catch. All you have to do is leave me a comment in the month of October. I will draw a name from comments left at the end of October. Once I finish the artwork I'll post it on my side bar.

Falcon's game ~

Thanks sweet Gabby for the pictures.

My husband, his sister and younger brother took the cousins to the Falcon's game yesterday ~ thankfully they won!

I stayed behind to paint and my younger son (very much a home body and not into sports at all stayed with me).

My sweet neice took photos which I knew she would and shared them with us this morning.

The cousins!

Pretty brave of this guy to wear a shirt like this ~ especially in Atlanta. My middle son has a Vick jersey that we've put up in my husbands closet. Very very sad story and my 2 sons are very disappointed with how that all turned out.

So, I spent yesterday painting!

Here are some of the tiles I finished ~ not great quality on the photos - sorry - my digital is having issues.

magnolia

Yellow Cone flowers

pansies

Iris

Cherry blossoms

Pink poppy

seascape

roses

morning glory

morning glory

violets

gernamiums

lilac

orange poppy

strawberries

apples

tulip

the reflection on some of the tiles makes them look like the lower right corner is warped huh?!
weird.
Anyway, busy painting along for the Oliver Hardy Festival this coming weekend!

Have a fabulous week and don't forget to leave those comments so that you can enter the drawing!

Lol! As I was sitting here scrolling through those gorgeous tiles, I would find one that was my favorite which would quickly change to another one that was my favorite and I think that I finally ended up with about 7-8 favorites! Beautiful work once again, Sandy! smiles...

I love the tiles. The strawberries are delightful!

Looks like your boys had a good time with Dillon and Gabby. Someone took some great pictures of the cousins. Your tiles came our marvelously (is that a word?) I agree with Christi, I can't pick my favorite either. Besides October being Breast Cancer Awareness month it also has Red Ribbon Week the 22nd through the 26th. Parents eat dinner with your children. Recent studies have proven children who eat dinner with their families are less likely to smoke, drink or use drugs. Have a super week! Love to all, Mom

wow, your family had fun, and from the looks of it, so did you. Of course you know the Iris is my favorite...and I hope we get rid of the word verification soon...it makes me dizzy. Oh and I have tagged you to tell us 7 things about yourself that we don't know. Then you can, like me, go tag 7 others...I was tagged by Abbie, so just passing on the joy

I'm going to be different and say the Tulip is my favorite, but they are ALL gorgeous! Although you KNOW I love pansies but wait...I already have a beautiful tile with pansies from my sweet friend Sandy!!! :o) Great pics of the cousins and my yearly Mammogram is this Thursday @ 5:30! More women are getting theirs done because it took me 5 weeks to get the appointment! Thanks! Hugs ~ Kim

Sandy, I love all of your paintings. Thanks for the breast cancer month reminder...hmmm, I might have to find something jewelry related for breast cancer month.
p.s. We had a one yr old dog, when I purchased a new puppy in May...ummm, yeah well, I didn't think either was old enough to do "those things"...we may be having puppies around here somewhere around halloween! They will both be fixed after that.

Sandy, the awesome, creative, and beautiful ideas just keep flowing from you! I love all your tiles --- so pretty! And Alice's painted window is lovely as well.

Have a happy autumn! It's birthday month at our house! Yesterday we took my FIL out to dinner, as it was my MIL's 75th birthday. She passed away 5 years ago because of breast cancer. . .we missed her, talked of her, and thought of her.

Thanks for remembering Breast Cancer Awareness month so eloquently.

Love the painting on tiles! Question, can you write on them with dry erase markers and wipe off? So cute!

Gorgeous tiles!!
The Falcons game looked like a lot of fun. I remember going to games when the stadium was pretty empty (around 1994 I think) and one time I actually fell asleep it was so quiet in there. We still love the Falcons and watch them whenever they're televised down here. My husband and both of my girls all have Michael Vick jerseys. They've all been boxed up. so sad :(

good to catch up with you!

Great pictures of the boys! Looks like they had a great time at the ballgame. The tiles are "simply marvelous" :0) Bet you sell them all at the craft fair? Have you priced them? I have to say I am a little disappointed in your blog...I was hoping for a picture of the new doo! I get my haircut tomorrow and I get my new "funky" glasses. Will post a picture of myself on my blog, which should give you all the confidence in the world to post a picture of your beautiful face! Studying hard tonight on tax stuff, but getting some painting done as well. I miss ya!
