WOOHOO!!
Yes, today is my 200th post and I have a special GIVEAWAY to celebrate the occasion!

Handpainted Message Board ~ painted by me of course with a beautiful orange lily. It's been baked into the tile so that you can wash it by hand. It will come with a dry erase marker (seen below) so that you can write special messages, notes, etc. on. Whatever suits your fancy!
My friend Terry's dad made these awesome tile holders for me -thanks!

So, all you have to do is leave me a comment today and on Wednesday I will have one of my darling boys draw a name when they get home from school. (around 3:45p.m. eastern)
(Oh, yeah! All the messages from Fridays post will go in the basket as well) Please feel free to let your blog friends know about my giveaway ~ I love having new people visit my blog!
UPDATE: I have a sick son home again today
(Wed. Aug. 15th) ~ doctors appt. at 3:20p.m. so will hold the drawing this evening after my evening paint class ~ around 8:30p.m.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend. It's easy to tell school is back in session because my youngest has already come home with a cold or something. He started coughing on Wednesday and by Saturday him and I both were just a hurtin with sore throats, swollen glands behind our ears, and me well just feeling like I've been run over. I tried to paint yesterday and let's just say thank goodness it was on glass so it could easily be washed off. I realized after about the 7th attempt I just wasn't suppose to pick up a paintbrush feeling the way I did. I'm feeling much better today but still a bit run down.
We had a terrible storm on Saturday which resulted in my coffee maker blowing up (not literally) but lightning struck and all 3 kids were running into our room, DH and I were running into the kitchen and that's where we all met - thought for sure it hit the house. Coffee maker was turned on and trying to make nothing. We unplugged everything (kids outlets had already shut off) and went to bed. Their outlets were fine but the coffee maker was kaput! Oh well, got a really nice stainless steal one to replace it although I have to admit my coffee didn't taste as good this morning so I'm hoping it's just working out any new appliance kinks it has.
DH went and saw Stardust last night and gave it 2 thumbs up!
Well, I have so much to do today since I did nothing over the weekend. Plus, I'm gonna try and sneak in a little nap today with the puppies.

Have a wonderful day. Don't forget to leave me a comment to be entered for the giveaway!

Hey again! I hope you're feeling better now. I forgot to say "CONGRATULATIONS on your 200th post!" in my last comment, so I'm doing it now. First day of 1st grade for Kaila today - can you believe it?? Remember when you used to hold her and let her fall asleep on your chest?! Well I hope you enjoy your Monday! Blessings and love, Chris

I should have told you about the Tassimo coffee maker my parents bought for my guest suite upstairs. It makes coffee/hot chocolate/tea in single servings in 60 seconds! Check it out at www.tassimo.com You can use it when you come to my house to visit and paint. I need to paint those tiles...those exact color lillies are in every yard in this neighborhood! Hope you feel better soon.

Please enter me in your drawing. I found you through Jen's blog, This is the Day. The painted lily is beautiful! My favorite flower!

What a freak storm you've had! We tend to unplug everything too in the smallest storm - altough some device have inbuilt safety fuses, you can't be too prudent!
Love the message board, I hope I'll be lucky this time round! Take care.
