House update: Things went well with the builder. He's very impressed with our property & the potential of building our house. My husband really felt this is the guy to do it. Very impressed with the time he gave him, showed him the house he is personally building for himself and ready to start getting to work for us. They can have it built in 9 months ~ YIKES. So, now we have decide when we'll start, if we're gonna start, etc. Will keep you posted.

Have a wonderful week.

Enjoyed class! It wasn't the easiest flower we've ever painted but I was really happy with the end result. Your orchids are beautiful. Maybe I can take that class the next time you offer it.

Wow, the flower paintings are just so pretty. Everyone did a fantastic job. I especially love the frame.
Glad you found a possible builder. That's got to be a huge relief. How exciting for you.

Oh, I almost forgot...THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MY GOODIE BAG! I'm so happy that I finally won! I have already used nearly everything in the bag and looked through all of the catalogs and magazines! The 1" flat came in handy tonight when I painted my tera cotta pots for the birdbath! You are the best! Hugs ~ Kim

Your class is doing so well. I like to think if I had an understanding teacher, I could do as well! In the mean time I have purchased a lovely painting of a copper teapot filled with flowers and a small bird (canary?) appears to be sitting on the table admiring them...I have hung it in my dining room...what is the best way to clean it? I am sure there is nicotine on it (as a former smoker I can smell the foul odor!)What style have you decided on for your new house? I know you'll be happy to get it started!

Hi, Sandy, Ya'll always look like you're having so much fun in painting class. Congrats on the new house. We'll be excited to celebrate that with you & can't wait to hear more. N. Ga. mountains, did I read right? That will be great. Of course, that area is really growing up there too.

I can't believe you're building your own home! Fabulous! Don't forget "the art room" in the plans! Loved your orchids, and happy belated birthday to your DH!

A new house? So exciting. Gorgeous work from your class, as usual.

WOW, both of those classes look pretty challenging, but your students did a great job, as always! Great teacher + dedicated students = great results! I miss you!

Nice job as usual from your students. I think the next time either I visit you or you come here you are going to have to teach me how to do some of this painting. It amazes me how first timers do so well. I am praying that God will give you clear directions as far as the house goes.
Love ya
