Puppies first sleep over away from home & my DH's
25th High School Reunion ~

This weekend we went to my DH's high school reunion. I will admit that I was a bit apprehensive as it was the first one I've gone to with him ~ but it was a lot of FUN! I met some really nice people, the food was great and we had a blast dancing (I'll pay for it this week ~ my knees are killing me)!

Had to take the puppies to the kennel for the first time. This is them in the car - a bit sad aren't they? Becks (in the back) looks like he is about to bust out in tears.

I was talking to them on the way and POSH just turned her head like she wasn't going to hear any of it! Too funny! I get to pick them up tomorrow ~ hope their first stay at the kennels was uneventful for them.

My mother in laws cousin from Norway - Reidun was in town and so we took her to the big craft fair in Augusta ~ Christmas Made in the South. Lynne, Carol, Reidun and I had a great time looking around and there were some awesome things to look at.

This is the cutest thing I saw at the entire fair - flower pots turned into a lighthouse with a solar (yard light) on top. TOO cute! I asked a lady that had purchased it if I could take a photo of it cause I'm sure the lady that made it wouldn't have let me take a picture of her booth.

It was so dark in the room that almost all of my pictures were really dark ~ even with the new awesome camera ~ they didn't show up.

My in-laws took some photos of us before the event - I felt like we were off to PROM or something. The boys went to see my brother in law race and they took Reidun with them to experience a true southern dirt race track.
I think she really enjoyed it!

Of course we walked out and my hair went FLAT in the GA humidity!

I didn't forget the events but forgot to mention them here ~

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my brother in law Michael ~ he was 40 on Oct. 6th ~the day we were at the Harlem festival.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my in laws - October 11th was their 49th wedding anniversary!! They are the sweetest couple and are a great example of TRUE love!

I have 6 painting classes this week so much get off this computer and get ready for those!
Have a great week. Hope you'll come by and visit often and leave me a comment so I know you came by. Remember, that all comments in October go into a drawing in honor of Breast Cancer awareness. I'll hopefully post the prize this week! Don't forget to click on the button on the top right corner of my blog - Breast Cancer Awareness site.

oh, and you guys look great...the puppies look sad, but then again, I think they practiced how to look like that, don't you? And still hate the word verification thing...can't quite see the point, lol...

If Southwood is ever full and you don't have a place to leave those darling puppies, I'd be happy to keep them for you! Of course, I would spoil and love on them like my other grand-puppies! You guys looked AWESOME as always! Hey, I actually am working on one of those lighthouse pot projects now. I bought the Plaid book that shows a bunch on them. They are adorable. See you tonight!

You look fabulous! How was the kennel visit? I have yet to leave Margot at a kennel and she is 2 years old! We take her with us for our summer vacation. We've been away once without her and my sister stayed over to dog sit. Looking forward to seeing what your classes come up with.

How were you ever able to drop them off with those sad looks?!? It breaks my heart and I am not their "mommy".

That photo is fabulous of you two. I am so glad that you had a good time!
