Feeling better and Monday's paint class ~Thank you all so much for your sweet emails and comments about my health. I'm feeling a bit better but still have a persistent cough that will just take some time to go away I guess since I've had it about a month now.

At paint class last night we painted a partridge, pears, holly, evergreen, twigs & berries.
I saw something similar to this in Painting Magazine 2002 by Frankie Conar and I adapted it to fit my class and project piece.

This was her first time painting ever and her first class with me!

So, today was bowling and I did my usual all over the place - 178, 140, and 158. I'm working hard on my giveaway item so that I can get it listed this week - I'm thinking most likely Thursday - so make sure to check back then! We're painting a landscape tomorrow with a deer in paint class and I'll share those pictures with you soon.

Have a wonderful week.
Sandy

I hope everyone in the household is feeling better, even Posh and Beck after their trip to the vet. The plates are amazing. Great job and so creative. My hope and prayer during this very hectic time of year is that you will get some much needed rest and slow down long enough to enjoy the reason for the season.
Love ya,
Mom

Bless your heart...still fighting that nasty cold! It took George awhile too. Sure hope I don't get it since we're leaving next week for NY!

Hope you're completely well real soon.

Hugs!

These are really pretty. You have come a long way from those pots that you painted fruit on about 10 years ago. I'm sure I still have one somewhere. It would be neat for you to show it on your blog so that people could see where you started.
Love ya,
Linda

Glad you are feeling better, also how is Kendall doing. I know about the cough, eventually it will leave you (hope so) The plates are beautiful and I agree with Linda, my flower pot is on the mantel where I can see it daily.

ohhh, new students - YIPPEE! Always fun to see what the regulars get done, but I love to see a new face that enjoys painting as much as the rest of us. Hope the cough goes away soon and that the entire family has a healthy and happy holiday season.

I am glad you are feeling better. I think several people from my office had what you had - including me and it put one guy in the hospital...the constant coughing...uggghhh! Take care of yourself. It takes a long time to totally get rid of it. I went to do an interview at a barn recently and the dust irritated it and the coughing was horrible that night.

Sandy, I am so sorry I did not know you have not been feeling well. In my busyness I am behind on my visiting. I hope you are feeling much better, and hope your cough does not last too much longer. What beautiful work! Your students are wonderful artist! Stay well and continue to enjoy the season.

Smiles...

Hey Sandy! I hope you are better - I've missed reading your blog posts this last week, not to mention all the wonderful art work you and your students create. Hopefully, one day, we'll get to catch up with one another. God's blessings and love, Chris
