In class last week we painted these adorable glasses and then turned the champagne glasses into lamps using a flameless candle (thanks for the idea Colleen). We painted the foot of the glass as a flower and then the lampshade with butterflies adorned with swarvoski crystals.
Then we painted ivy bowls like lotus blossoms - very cool when you look inside the bowl and see the center of the flower.

(was awesome to hear that the last class Terry came to was painting hydrangeas and he sold that in his studio ~ very exciting!)

It's Spring Break here for the kiddos and we're visiting some colleges that son #2 is interested in applying to after his Sr. year next year. Feels more like Summer than Spring with temps up in the 90's ~ crazy hot!
