Splish Splash! & Painting for June Classes
We've been hitting the pool lately with the temps in the 90's - 94 today and boy was it hot.

We have an awesome pool on the base ~ it's an olympic sized pool.

My three fishies
They would be mortified if they
knew I called them that.

This actually ended in a really nice dive but from
the picture it sure does look like it's about to the
a very painful belly flop.

Austin did an awesome flip but my finger
snapped too quickly.

Austin & Kendall

I've been getting ready for my paint and clay classes this month ~ we're painting
this boat landscape in sepia tones that I painted at my paint certification in March.

We're also painting Lily of the Valley

and Passion Flower

We're also painting Columbine but I haven't painted that yet - still looking for the perfect project piece - I'll know it when I see it.

In my June Clay Class we'll be creating poppies on this tile message board. I might need to schedule another class as this class is FULL.

Have a fabulous day!

Sandy

Summertime and the living is easy! There's nothing like a day at the pool, is there? Great photos. What handsome boys you have.

I can't believe how big the boys have gotten. I am glad that dive turned out to be good cause it sure looked like a belly flop from the picture. :) I love all your work but I am liking the boat scene the best. I love the colors.
Love ya,
Lind

I still LOPVE my sunflower message board that you made! People ask me all the time where I got it! Too cool... And to think that it's an original!
How did you get the red flowers to 'pop out', on the one that is on your blog today?

It was 90 today and that pool looked so inviting. I can remember when you use to go to Linda and the boys would take swim lessons every year. They look like they are enjoying themselves. I agree with Linda, they are getting BIG!!!!

Love those poppies!
I will never look at a poppy again without thinking about those beautiful fields in Italy.
We had art lessons while we were there... fun-fun!
