Lemons, Strawberries & an award ~

I've been a bad blogger again ~ I know!

I've been busy trying to get everything done that needs to be done before I go to my painting convention next month!

Our Air Museum has a huge auction every summer and for the last three years I've donated
something for them to auction off.

This year, I painted a lemonade set with a pitcher and 8 glasses set in this tray with lemons painted on it as well.

I also donated this lazy susan that I painted with strawberries and blossoms.

Hope they fetch some good money for the museum! I'll be coming home from my painting convention the day of the auction so I can't go.

Jayne from The Bunny Chic Boutique has presented me with this Beautiful Blogger Award. I'm so thrilled to be included in this amazing group of Bloggers that have been nominated to date. Thank you Jayne! The award is for creativity, originality, and overall contribution to the blogging community.

Everyone on my "favorite places to visit" inspires me so much and are all deserving of this award! This might be against the rules (sorry if it is) but if you are listed in my favorite places to visit you're there for a reason! You truly inspire me and blogland is such an awesome place to be with people like you! Consider yourself awarded!

Once you have been selected, (which all that read my blog have been selected) please follow these guidelines and pay it forward:1) Choose 5 blogs that you consider deserving of this award based on creativity, design, interesting material, and overall contribution to the blogger community, regardless of the language.2) Post the name of the author and a link to his or her blog by so everyone can view it.3) Each award-winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award.4) The award-winner and the presenter should post the link of the “Arte y pico“blog , so everyone will know the origin of this award.5) Please post these rules. Thanks again to Jayne for this Fabulous Blogger Award!!
My baby came home from 4-H camp yesterday! It sure was 5 long days without his laughter in our house. He has such an energy about it him! We missed him so much and glad he's home.
Well, I'm procrastinating and really do have to get off this computer and get back to my list of things that HAVE to be done! Have a fabulous day.
Blessings,
Sandy

Hey Sandy, The lemon set just screams to be enjoyed on a hot summer day! Beautiful, as always! Again, I've seen the lazy susan with strawberries in person and the picture doesn't do it justice. It is absolutely GORGEOUS! You are certainly deserving of the award. You have inspired and blessed me from the day we met. Hugs ~ Kim

You KNOW those things will make plenty of money for the museum. I shudder to think what I'd pay for them. lol (Actually, my husband would shudder to think what I would pay - I'd just grin and write the check. ha!).

Have fun at your convention and congratulations on your award! You do so deserve it.

This is all darling, but the lemon tray and glasses are the BEST!
