Oh my, that is an understatement isn't it?
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours was nice and quiet with my younger sister and her family over for a lovely meal. We actually threw the pies out after they left because we didn't want to sit around and eat pie for days after. My greatest feat was that I finally after 18 years made turkey gravy like my moms!! It was so yummy and for the first time in 18 years wasn't lumpy!
Yesterday I spent the day with a good friend of mine up at Plaid in Atlanta. It was awesome to see a lot of creating going on! I unfortunately left my camera up there though and won't get it back until next week when I go to Florida.
I had two fabulous classes on Monday and will post my second class photos late next week since those pics are still on my camera card. We painted this landscape and I love the way it turned out. We put a piece of contact paper over the canvas and cut an oval out of the middle - painted out landscape and lifted the contact paper to be left with crisp edges in the shape of an oval.
