Studio Clay by Sculpey(TM)
Candle Toppers and more ~ plus a GIVEAWAY!

So I've been having fun playing and creating with clay the past couple of days.
One of the first things I always throw away when I purchase a Yankee candle is the lid. I was lit one of my candles this morning and it burned out and I figured I could make something out of it. Since this one has no candle I think I'm gonna fill it with candy and send it to a friend.
I have a thousand other ideas to put on the top of these now and will have lots of fun making them!

It's all created with the Studio by Sculpey clay and tools ~ if you haven't used them yet ~ you have to! These would make fabulous holiday gifts this year don't you think!!

In fact, I love the idea of them so much I think I'll have a giveway!

The giveway will be for the pumpkin topper and jar filled with some kind of holiday yummy candy! All you have to do is leave a comment on my blog and you'll be entered!
Enter on my other blog here and you'll be entered again!

I purchased this mirror last year at Hobby Lobby with the intention of putting something one it - actually I was going to paint on it but it screamed at me yesterday to put Calla Lilies on it and I love the way it turned out!

I've been painting too! I picked up these two buckets at Hobby Lobby (where else huh? ~LOL) and I knew I wanted to paint roosters on them.

Holly & Berries painted on glasses with Folk Art Enamel paint ~ love the way these turned out too! I'm taking these up to the Byron Welcome Center along wit the roosters and mirror.

Thank you all so much for the comments and private emails I received about the watermark on my photos! I appreciate your kindness! Who knew I had the capabilitiy the entire time with a fabulous photo program and does more than I could have imagined!

Don't forget to enter my giveaway by leaving a comment on this post! You can enter on my other blog by clicking here and you'll be entered again!
I'll have one of my sweet boys draw a name on October 14th after they get home from school.
Have a wonderful holiday weekend!
Blessings,
Sandy

Pick me! Pick me! You won't even have to fill it with candy if you'll just PICK ME!!! lol

I love all your stuff. Sooooo pretty! The mirror turned out great! I painted my own Christmas goblets a few years ago - they ended up looking like something out of Dr. Seuss. lol (Which was NOT the look I was going for, by the way)

Now just remember...no matter how many entries you get and no matter how hard your children try to do otherwise, the important thing is to JUST. PICK. ME., okie-dokie? (repeat that to yourself over and over and we'll both end up happy. LOL)

Oh I so hope you will pick me. I experimented with sculpey a while back but it was old sculpey and I just felt defeated with messing with it. You may have renewed my interest.

Thanks for the comment of my dog. She is doing much better and hopefully her bandage will come off tomorrow.

Sandy - Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a sweet comment!

I LOVE the jar tops. You are one creative chick! I really love that you're reusing the candle lids. I always chunk those too, but not without first thinking - surely this can be used for SOMETHING?

I check your blog every day or two to see what great stuff you have done lately and you never disappoint me.

I love what you did with the clay. I've played with it some but not to that extent.

Wish we lived closer so I could take some of your classes. You're a great encouragement to me as I start to teach.

Hi Sandy:
I came over from Julie's Equusvilla blog page. I was reading your other blog about losing weight...it's one of the hardest things to do I think.
Your art work is beautiful.

Hi Sandy! I am so glad you left a comment on my blog. I had lost you. Something happened to my blog and it kicked everyone out of my blog roll. I'm trying to rebuild it, but some of the exact blogger addresses I can't remember, I type what I think it is in and something else comes up. So I am so glad I found you. And then to my surprise you are having a giveaway for these adorable toppers! How pretty. I love them. You are so talented. I'll say it again, I wish I lived near you so I could take lessons from you. We'd have so much fun: ) Please enter me. Thank you Sandy! Have a wonderful weekend.
