Yesterday we had a fabulous class painting lilacs and rosebuds on a metal calendar that I repurposed for our class. Painted the top with black Folk Art Enamel paint so that we'd have a place to paint our design. Love functional things and think everyone in class did a fabulous job on their painting!

Last week I also had some ladies over that weren't able to come to the bird class but really wanted to paint it so we got together at my house and painted it! Love this painting and so did everyone else!

PatI'm super excited to be flying out tomorrow for Vegas Paints Convention in Las Vegas! Excited to see some friends that I don't get to see that often!
Sad though that Celine Dion cancelled her concert that we had tickets for because she is sick. :( I'm sure we'll find something else to see but was really looking forward to seeing her.
Hubby bought me a present with the help of my little sister and IPAD 2!! Thanks sista for coordinating that!! So I'm thrilled that I'll be able to stay semi-connected ~ can do so with my Droid X but the screen sure is small especially for as bad as my eyesight has gotten over the last couple of years.
The day he brought it home was also the day we found out we need to replace the water heater. :( Several days now with no hot water makes for 4 grumpy men and one grumpy momma!
Gonna have to hit the gym later for a good workout and a shower! lol
