My Birthday and Mistletoe Market

Wow! What an exciting week I just had! I had such a wonderful birthday and spent the day setting up for the Mistletoe Market in Perry and then had a fabulous dinner out with my boys. My mom and dad sent the most incredible flowers that were waiting for me when I got home from setting up our booth for the event. I had to include a picture so you could all see them - the cake is just too adorable and they still look fresh and wonderful almost a week later! Thanks mom and dad!

I got a sad call on my b-day though that my mom wasn't going to be coming back to the states because her tdy was cancelled....boohoo!!! I was really looking forward to having her here and so were my boys! BUT she'll be able to spend Thanksgiving with my daddy now which is good.

We changed things this year with our booth at the Mistletoe Market. This is the third year Nicole and I have done the event it's gotten better and better every year!! We were slammed packed busy all weekend which is a good thing but there were moments I wasn't sure we'd get done all the special orders we were personalizing while people shoppped!! We certainly could not have done it each day without Nicole's daughter Lexi helping us either - she helped customers while Nicole and I had our heads buried painting painting painting!! We had ornaments, santa plates, money banks, and holiday tiles ( our best seller for the 2nd year in a row).

Here are some of the banks we did ~ I will have to take better pictures this coming weekend when we set up for the Gingerbreads on Main event in Byron, GA. We were so busy from the first minutes the door opened on Friday until closing Sunday at 5p.m. that we didn't take many pictures - nor did we eat lunch or have a potty break -it was that crazy busy!! I know we have some other pictures though that some friends took so once I get those I'll share them with you!

Now, I have to get my much neglected studio and HOUSE in order!! I'm looking forward to having the kids out of school this week and spending some time with them and having my sister and family here on Thanksgiving!!
Have a wonderful day!
Blessings,
Sandy
