Happy Monday!

Wanted to share some of what I've been up to ~

This is the first piece I painted in 2008! It's an old cabinet door turned into a tray and handpainted with grapes in the middle. I haven't sealed it yet - haven't decided if I want it matte or shiney.

Paint day with Stacia ~

Stacia won a paint day with me a couple of months ago for taking 6 classes in one month and we had such a great day. She is such a sweetheart. She started our morning off just right with a Venti Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks ~ yum!

She got to pick two projects she wanted to paint and I was thrilled with the two that she picked (two of my favorites).
First, was a summer landscape we did last August. She painted it on a 16x20 canvas and did such a fabulous job!

Second project was the Tiger lilies that my classes had painted earlier last year as well and again she just amazed me with being able to look at my finished canvas, take instruction and paint it beautifully!
I got to watch mostly which was awesome to see Stacia apply all that she has learned over the past few months in paint class.
Great job Stacia! I had a blast.

I'm home to day all day ~ doesn't happen very often in my life ~ but when it does I just LOVE it! I have a lot of painting to do with January classes and need to get my next couple of months class schedules ready.

Happy Birthday to my bloggin' friend Sandi!
Check out her fabulous blog on the picture to the
left.

Have a fabulous MONDAY and wonderful week.

Blessings,
Sandy

That tray is terrific! I gotta keep that in mind when I am shopping flea markets and remember to look for old cabinetry. I am so busy working two jobs, and tax season is starting to pick up. Can't wait until I have a day to paint. I miss you!

I love your paintings and am so impressed as I can't even paint by number. I do a good job with a paintbrush on a wall though! : )

I LOVED the picture of the grapes. I decorated my bedroom in "winery" pictures, so the grapes caught my eye.

You are very talented.

I am new to blogging world and am not even sure how I found you, but I enjoyed seeing the beauty you have created.

Have a blessed day,
Julie
