Getting caught up...

I finished my For the LOVE of Supplies Swap that Artsymama is hosting. I was thrilled with the partner I was given (AMY) and I hope that she likes the supplies I've sent. I've filled it with a bunch of yummy goodness and I've given just a sneak peak but will share the entire contents after she's received it.

I also finished painting all of my January class projects. I must admit that there are some times that I paint the project the day before. It's just the way I work and I wish I could change it but when the feeling isn't there to paint it I can force it.

Seashore, Starfish and Shells class ~ We're painting this on a wooden box and have something on all sides of the box.

This is our landscape class for the month ~
a seascape scene with a lighthouse.
We'll be painting a medley of vegetables on a wooden plate in another class.

and finally but certainly not least
we're painting strawberries and blossoms on a wooden tray.
I can't believe the last painting class I taught was on Dec. 17th. I needed a bit of a break to regroup and reenergize but this has been too long of a break. I miss seeing my students and am really looking forward to our classes this month. I was also so inspired yesterday after finishing them all that I came up with my February schedule and projects.
I hope you have an outstanding weekend.
Blessings,
Sandy

I love seahorses...remember when you could order "seamonkies" in magazines and waited hopefully for the critters that never arrived? I always hoped they were seahorses...

Hi Sandy

Looks like great projects for the month. I love the sea shells!

Well, my company is gone and I'm kinda/sorta caught up around the house. It's been fun this afternoon catching up on my blog reading that I missed this past week.

I hope your weekend has been a good one.

Hugs!
Kat
