Don't forget to enter my OWOH giveaway - see post below. Click on the world button in the post and it will take you over to the OWOH headquarters hosted by Lisa O. There are some fabulous (over 400) artists participating with some of the most beautiful and creative giveways I've ever seen!
Wednesday my middle son had a basketball game and the night before he was so nervous. He was telling us at dinner that this kid on the other team (their star player) was incredible and it was his job to guard him. This kid averages about 20 pts. a game and my son did such a fabulous job guarding him that he ended up with 2 pts. for the whole game. Our team has won 9 games this season and lost 2 (one being to this team that they beat on Wed.) YIPPEE! I think that is their best record in quite some time for the school. They've made the playoffs finally! Just wish I knew how to sit there quietly ~ always intend to keep my mouth shut but ALWAYS end up on my feet screaming and yelling ~ especially at the refs. Have to get some control before the playoffs.
My parents are coming back in town today after visiting my other two sisters and we get to spend the week with them before they had back to Germany. Will hopefully get lots of pictures with them and the boys!
OTHER GOOD NEWS ~ as most of you know my hubby retired from the Air Force after 22 years in November and he interviewed for a job on Thurs. and found out yesterday that he got the job! YIPPEE!! He is the most organized, proficient, and dedicated person I know and I know that company will LOVE having him work there! I have to admit though that I have enjoyed not having to get up early in the morning as he got up, got the kids off to school, cleaned the house, did the laundry, dishes, etc. I've always said that he is the main reason I get as much done as I do (creating wise) because he leaves very little for me to do around the house. Now, I will go back to my schedule routine of cleaning once he starts work - bathrooms on Mondays and Fridays, sheets on Fridays - it makes it so much easier to schedule those days so I know what needs to be done and it keeps it clean! I'm spoiled!! I appreciate him so much though and for one minute wouldn't dream of taking him for granted!!
Well, enough about all that! Have a great weekend. The boys are off to a movie and I'm gonna play with paint and clay!!
Blessings,
Sandy

Sandy,
How did I miss the class on daffodils and the one with the bouquet? They are gorgeous as usual! Are the daffodils on a piece of slate? Keep up the good work!
Have a blessed day!

Gorgeous projects Sandy!! I especially love the frames.

Congrats to your hubby on both his retirement and his new job. Girl, you are so lucky to have a hubby who helps so much around the house. Mine is pretty darn good, but I'm sure doesn't do nearly as much as it sounds like your hubby does.

Hugs!
